Stods is overall just a great place to be - where players can do what they love to do with all the fun and guidance. The staff have always been welcoming, directive and provide tons of support and recommendations in a safe environment. They have adhered to government regulations during this Covid time and I feel safe for my son to go there to get into the batting cages or continue lessons with his pitching coach. Staff are knowledgeable and up to date and always happy to advise. We have never had a bad experience at Stods.
Joe is a wonderful pitching coach. He makes my son feel comfortable and is attentive to all the areas my son needs help with. He is extremely knowledgeable. He is careful with recommendations and regulations during Covid and I am reassured that my son can still get a great experience safely. Joe is great to communicate with, flexible and very dependable. My son has fun while learning and playing what he loves.
Place was great. Cages with various speeds, booked online and they had bats and helmets to use. Came with the kids, but it was way more fun than a driving range. Good deal
I haven't picked up a bat in years, and it was so much fun to come in with the boys and swing the bat. We didn't know what to expect, and we were thoroughly surprised. there was plenty of cages to choose from and friendly staff to shoot the shit. Plus there are more cages in the back where we pitched to each other and used pitching machines that we operate. Plus two bars next door for a cool-down beer and some pizza. definitely coming back.
The staff there are all very knowledgeable of the baseball community. All the instructors have played some level of professional baseball and know the in's and out's of the game. They worked really well with my son who is 7 years old, and helped point me the right direction to insure that my son develops as a player, and has a lot of fun while learning the game.
