Heather heather!!! What to say a mommy, a health care public servant or a kick ass trainer. As I say to her I hate you but I still come back to get my ass kicked. Best trainer you'll ever have. She doesn't only train you but give you tips as well. She knows how to get you motivate. Not always a same workout. Doesn't matter what you doing a personal trainer class, a boot camp or a tuff mudder training. Heather is the person speak to and get trained with.:-)
You want to get fit - train with Heather. I never had a personal trainer in my life, neither did I join a boot camp (or in our case now also called group personal training...but basically the same). I always feared that the trainer would be either too 'trainer-y' (like really, really athletic that it becomes strange already) or too boot-camp-y (like an odd drill-instructor). Heather is neither, she is a very nice person, personable aaaaaaaaand: you will train your ass off (literally). She knows so many different workouts and mixes them up, honestly in the six months I have been training with her, I barely remember that we did sequences twice, which is a great thing, as it is not boring and your body is not getting used to stuff, so you are constantly getting fitter. She is able to adapt every workout, if you e.g. come to the session with a back pain, she can accommodate it right away. I love that Heather is highly knowledgable and super easy-going at the same time, and she makes you work hard! She is one of the few trainers - as I was looking for one for a while and searched around before I found her - who trains outdoors and not in a gym. I love that she is using free weights and simple yet super effective tools instead of strange, huge machines in a gym, where you do repetitive stuff all hour and your body is not getting challenged. My background is in medicine, so I cannot give a higher recommendation about Heather's understanding of getting fit in a safe but challenging way. Her services are affordable and well worth the money. Remember, she is not a magician, so YOU have to go to the session and actually DO the stuff she is showing you, but with her help it is so much easier. I would never - never ever - have done so much change in my activity habits without her. Thank you Heather!
I have been doing Boot Camp with Heather at happy&healthy fitness, since Jan 4th 2016. I truly love her sessions. She works me hard and I have gotten excellent results, I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to work out in her classes. Heather is truly an amazing and knowledgeable trainer,who can work you at all levels. If you ever are lucky enough to work with her, you will not regret it. I am looking forward to another Boot Camp in future. Heather, I thank you from my thinner waist,my stronger legs,& arms and my tighter butt, oh lets not forget the longer yardage I have gained on my drives on the golf course ! Heather is AWESOME! I hate working out, really hate it, but she makes the classes fun and while she's motivating you, and you really want to quit, you're laughing and realize you're still moving. I met Heather through a good friend of mine that lost over 100 lbs with Heather's help.....slow and steady has saved the day. I should mention that my friend has asthma and we both have arthritis and Heather always understands how to adjust the work out when we need a little break. GO SEE HER!
Totally loved every minute working out with Heather! She was fun and always put a smile on our faces as we trained. She used everything around her to make the work out different but affective. I lost healthy inches off after having my babies, and she started me onto a great path where exercise is now a part of my everyday life.
I've been going to Heather's bootcamp classes for three years. THREE YEARS!! That's forever in fitness land. I'll warn you, the classes are always tough, but that's what you want right? Plus they are always different and interesting so you never get bored. Heather knows her stuff too and is great at giving tips and correcting form (I know, my back sucks). Plus she is funny and caring and all around awesome. She is invested in all her clients and is motivated to get them super fit. The other great thing is that the bootcamp crew is super friendly and hilarious so it's impossible not to become friends with one another. (side note - I recently cancelled my gym pass because my time there never compared to the workout I get with Heather).
